The Coop Concept will be partnering up with some exciting business in the summer of 2024!
The 3rd upcoming partnership that the Coop Concept will have is with Mentor Me of Ulster County and they are providing transportation! This nonprofit pairs at-risk youth with adult mentors to help them succeed.
Their core values are Ask, Help, and Hope. These values are centered around meeting a child’s needs, providing support, and instilling in their mentees hope and resilience.
These values align with the Coop Concept through the idea of community. Both organizations place a large emphasis on community and how it allows people to connect and share ideas and experiences. Both the Coop Concept and Mentor Me of Ulster County have similar ideas, and their work is focused on how they can create and sustain a community.
The final partnership is with the Ulster County Boys and Girls Club! The Coop Concept will be helping in upkeep of their garden spaces in Saugerties, as well as using their Greenkill house to entice youth to use it!
The Ulster County Boys and Girls Club is a community club that was founded in 1946. It has helped kids integrate into their local community in Ulster and Saugerties.
They are committed to providing youth with the skills to lead productive lives, as well as a sense of belonging and accomplishment. The Coop Concept helps youth in a similar way, teaching them about the environment as a way to become part of the local community.
The Coop Concept is very excited to be partnering with these organizations in the summer of 2024!
