Fly The COOP, Inc.

WHO WE ARE

Fly The COOP Inc is a 501(c)(3) workforce development and creative vocational enrichment program that empowers Hudson Valley youth through hands-on learning, mentorship, and community-focused projects. We bring together teens, caring adults, land, and local partners to cultivate skills, confidence, and belonging—helping young people take flight into their futures with purpose and support.

VISION

We envision a Hudson Valley where youth are uplifted by a community that actively stewards their growth, their environment, and their collective impact. Our future is one where young people have access to creative learning spaces, meaningful work experiences, and supportive networks that nurture independence, collaboration, and long-term success.

MISSION

Our mission is to prepare youth for adulthood through immersive work-based learning in sustainable agriculture, green building, place-making, creative entrepreneurship, and community service. We aim to remove barriers to opportunity by offering supportive mentorship, paid youth experiences, and pathways that honor each young person’s strengths.

As we grow, Fly The COOP, Inc. is laying the foundation for a future young adult housing collective—a stable, skill-building home-base where emerging adults can continue developing their personal, professional, and creative potential while contributing positively to their community.
